Questions About Design Work



How long does the process take?

That’s a loaded question. Everyone is different. I LOVE creating custom branding and sites, so I don’t set cookie cutter package timeframes. It depends on the scope of the project. Simple logo designs take a week or two, while major site development projects with ecommerce integration can take 6+ weeks. I’ll give you an estimated timeline in the quote.



How and when do I pay?

I use a secure client management system.Ā  I will send a proposal, contract, and invoice after weā€™ve come to an agreement about the scope of the project.Ā  My system allows you to pay via PayPal or any credit card.Ā Ā 

$60 non-refundable deposit at the time of booking

50% at the beginning of the project

50% at the end of the project, prior to me handing off files and/or the website



What is your refund policy?

I require a non-refundable deposit of $60 to hold your spot.Ā  If the project has not started yet, and you’ve paid or partially paid, then I will refund the full amount, minus the deposit.Ā  If we are mid-project, the refund will be determined by the amount of work that’s been completed.

Do I sign a contract?

Yes.Ā  I have a standard design contract that covers both of us in the event that an issue arises.Ā  It’s a very standard practice in the design world.Ā Ā

Will you show me how to maintain my website once it’s launched?

Absolutely!Ā  At the end of each project I record a video walkthrough to show you everything you need to know!Ā  These videos are typically about 30-60 minutes.Ā Ā
